Additionally, you agree not to circumvent VAG by engaging, dealing, or transacting directly or indirectly with the startup, its associated accelerator, or incubator without VAG's direct involvement. A breach of this provision will result in liability for any financial losses, damages, or other costs incurred by VAG as a direct or indirect consequence of such violation.

VIII.  Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VAG shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with our information, the engagement of third-party service providers, or any services provided by VAG, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if VAG has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

VAG is not liable for events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, or technical failures (“force majeure” events).
